Security Breach Weekend Roundup – 09/10/06
So many tips, so much news with very little time. Here are this weekend’s personal data exposure reports:
- University of Minnesota students’ personal information were stolen on a computer from a campus office last month.
- Firearms owners in Berks County had their identities exposed on a public website.
- Stolen laptop contains financial and health data belonging to Compass Health clients.
- The Florida National Guard loses a laptop containing training and administrative records — including social security numbers — of up to 100 Florida National Guard soldiers.
