I know in comparison to the grand scheme of things 128 people is far less than most laptop losses, but its really getting to a point where its unbearable. How many companies, especially health care industry ones, will continue to be so reckless with people’s personal information. I really wish HIPAA would start taking violators to task. I recently wrote about HIPAA and I really believe that if we were have it being enforced there would be a significant change in the number of laptops packed with ssn’s that go missing or lapses in system networks where private info is listed to prying eyes.
